Alanod began by manufacturing 810 mm 32 inch wide anodised aluminium coil in 1976.
This was the first production by the Alanod Company and the start of its successful growth.
 
Because of increasing world demand ALANOD quickly became the leading European manufacturer of anodised coil in widths up to 1250 mm or 49 inches.
 
Most of Alanod´s continuous manufactured -surfaces are used especially in the lighting industry.
At the same time ALANOD has developed specialty finishes for domestic appliances, computer, television, construction and automotive industries.
 
For anodised aluminium continuous coil and PVD ( physical vapour deposition ) coil products ALANOD is now world-wide market leader.

ALANOD has FOUR computer-controlled state-of-the-art anodising lines which can process up to 30,000 metric tonnes - 70 million pounds of aluminium per year.

The anodising production lines - up to 220 metres 722 feet in length - electro-chemically polish and anodise coil up to 1250 mm 49 inches wide and up to 1.5 mm or 060 inches thick.
